The final run up to a great (and growing) list of events is now underway. The Fringe venues are now finalising all of their music listings for the three days of the musical celebration and it looks as thought their may be more businesses than ever offering live music.

Tickets for the core events at The Concert Hall and the wonderful intimate venue at The South Beach Hotel are selling well so if you haven't got your tickets click on the link below to ensure you're not left disappointed. Comedy at the Clubs is proving popular and tickets for these events at Marr Rugby and Troon Juniors can also be purchased at the respective clubhouses.

All the tickets for the paid events can be booked online here

In person or online at The Gaiety Theater in Ayr

Since it was launched in 2010 Live@Troon has been providing a great September weekend of live entertainment for residents of, and visitors to, the Ayrshire coastal town.

Over the first five years the weekend has brought some great musical and comedic talent to Troon with sell out gigs for acts such as The Wanted, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, The Saw Doctors, The Colour Ham and Eddi Reader. It has introduced local audiences to some great unsigned Scottish talent such as Kassidy, Have Mercy Las Vegas, Vukovi and a list as long as your arm.

2015 promises more of the same and we hope a little bit extra with more venues, more musical tastes and more live music than ever before!

Live@Troon Main Stage

Following on the heels of sell outs for The Chilli Pipers and Eddie Reader in 2014 was always going to be, literally a hard act to follow but the organisers have produced two diverse nights this year again.

Friday has a strong Celtic Rock feel with a joint headliner featuring Skerryvore and former Runrig singer Donnie Munro and his full band whilst Saturday sees a a three band rock line up with headliner's Gun supported by girl rockers The Amorettes and up and coming Huxtable from Ayrshire.

Live@Troon Sessions

The South Beach replaces the Beach Tent this year with three nights of live music for all tastes - Blues rock on Friday followed by two nights hosted by Troon's own Tom Morton from Radio Scotland with an eclectic mix of folk, Americana and acoustic rock.

Fringe venues

The Fringe programme is being put in place over the coming couple of months but it is hoped that there will be more pubs and restaurants featuring live music than ever before including ambitious plans for a series of Classical and traditional programmes for hotels and churches in the town.

Comedy at the Clubs is new for 2015 and aimed at taking Live@Troon closer to the community with stand up events already scheduled for Marr Rugby Club and Troon Juniors

The Old Favourites...

And of course there is still plenty of room for the events that have become embedded into the programme including Troon's Got Talent for the primary schools, Strictly Sunday with its ballroom dancing and the second year of the Festival parade which will involve more of the community this year. Add to that the kids workshops, whisky tasting events and more and a great weekend is assured for visitor and resident alike.
